Mr. Beast Just Opened A Ghost Kitchen Chain

Ghost kitchens are the way of the future, especially as food delivery services rise in popularity, allowing people to enjoy their favorite food without leaving the couch. If you don’t already know who MrBeast is, you might just be living under a rock.

Who is Mr. Beast?

Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast, is a 22-year-old YouTube star whose claim to fame comes from his outrageous stunts and giveaways. He started making videos on the platform over ten years ago at age 13, but didn’t hit it big until he dropped out of college to put all of his energy into amassing a following on YouTube.

After spending countless hours over several years trying to crack YouTube’s algorithm and find out what it took for a video to go viral, Donaldson did it. In a simple counting video, he sat in a chair for 40-plus hours and counted all the way up to 100,000 before ending the video. With over 21 million views, this video helped MrBeast secure his spot as a successful YouTuber.

MrBeast now has over 50 million subscribers on YouTube and regularly shares insane stunts and huge giveaways. A few of his recent videos include “I Survived 24 Hours Straight In Ice,” “I Gave People $1,000,000 But ONLY 1 Minute To Spend It!,” and “I Uber’d People And Let Them Keep The Car.” With catchy titles, well-designed thumbnails, and enticing video topics, MrBeast knows what works.

Why did he open a ghost kitchen?

Reed Duchscher, MrBeast’s manager, has been pushing Donaldson to invest his money outside of YouTube in preparation for an eventual life off the platform. While Donaldson claims he’ll want to continue making YouTube videos full-time forever, he took his manager’s advice to heart. On December 19, 2020, MrBeast announced that he was starting a new venture called “Beast Burger.”
